consult your doctor or pharmacist.
The recommended dose is...
Adults, including the elderly, and children:1 dropin the affected eye/s, 3 times a day(in the
morning, afternoon and evening).
VIGAMOX can be used in children, patients over 65 years of age and in patients with kidney and liver
problems. There is very limited information on the use of the medicine in neonates and its
use in neonates is not recommended.
Use the medicine in both eyes only as prescribed by your doctor. VIGAMOX can be used

1 2 3
Take the VIGAMOX bottle and position yourself in front of a mirror.
Wash your hands
Unscrew the cap
After removing the cap, if the safety ring is loose, remove it before using the product
Take the bottle, turn it upside down, and hold it between your thumb and other fingers
Tilt your head back. Lower the lower eyelid with a clean finger, so as to form a “pocket”
between the eyelid and the eye. The drop should be inserted into that point ( figure 1)
Hold the tip of the bottle close to the eye. It may be helpful to look in the mirror
Do not touch the eye or eyelid, the surrounding areas or other surfaces with the tip of the
dropper. This could infect the eye drops
Gently press on the bottom of the bottle to release one drop of VIGAMOX at a time
( figure 2)
After using VIGAMOX, press with a finger on the corner of the eye, near the nose for 2-3 minutes
( figure 3). This prevents the medicine from spreading throughout the body, which is important
in young children
If you need to put the eye drops in both eyes, wash your hands before repeating the steps for
the other eye. This will help prevent the infection from spreading from one eye to the other
Close the bottle cap tightly immediately after use
If a drop does not enter the eye,try again.
If you use more VIGAMOX than you should, immediately wash the eye with lukewarm water. Do not use the eye drops again until
the time of the next dose.
If you accidentally ingest VIGAMOXask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.
If you forget to use VIGAMOX, continue treatment with the next dose as scheduled.
Do notuse a double dose to make up for a missed dose.
If you are using another eye drop at the same time, allow at least 5 minutes between instillation of
VIGAMOX and the other eye drop.
If you have any further questions on the use of this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
4. Possible side effects
