Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or
pharmacist has told you.

1. What is Antimicotico Same and what is it used for

Antimicotico Same is a cream for topical application containing the active ingredient
clotrimazole, an antifungal agent (antimycotic) active against fungi and bacteria. Antimicotico Same is
indicated:

• in all skin infections caused by fungi and yeasts: these can be located between the toes (athlete's foot - tinea pedis), in hairless areas (tinea corporis), in the groin area (tinea inguinalis - Hebra's marginated eczema), or may present as irregular patches (pityriasis versicolor);
• in skin infections such as primary pyodermas and erythrasma (scaly, pink-brown patches on the skin);
• for the preventive and curative treatment of superimposed skin infections due to yeasts (saccharomycetes) and Gram-positive bacteria.

Consult your doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 3-4 weeks.

2. What you need to know before using Antimicotico Same

Do not use Antimicotico Same

• if you are allergic to clotrimazole or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).

Warnings and precautions
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Antimicotico Same.

• The use, especially if prolonged, of products for topical application may cause sensitization (allergy to one or more components). In this case, stop treatment and consult your doctor (see section 4 “Possible side effects”).
• Use Antimicotico Same under the direct supervision of your doctor if you have a very extensive infection.
• Consult your doctor if you have suffered from these disorders in the past (recurrences of fungal infections) and if you do not observe appreciable results after 3-4 weeks of continuous use.
• Avoid contact of the medicine with the eyes.

Children
In early infancy, the product should be administered under the direct supervision of a doctor. In
nappy rash, the use of non-breathable nappies (with an “occlusive” effect) is not recommended
after applying the cream.

Other medicines and Antimicotico Same
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other
medicines.
No interactions with other medicines commonly used together with
Antimicotico Same have been reported.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
If you are pregnant, suspect you may be pregnant or are planning a pregnancy, or if you are breastfeeding with
breast milk, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.
If you are pregnant, use this medicine only if absolutely necessary and under the direct supervision
of your doctor.

Driving and using machines
Antimicotico Same does not impair the ability to drive vehicles or operate machinery.

Antimicotico Same contains cetyl stearyl alcohol
It may cause local skin reactions (e.g. contact dermatitis).

3. How to use Antimicotico Same

Use this medicine following exactly as stated in this leaflet or as instructed by your doctor or pharmacist. If you have any doubts, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Apply Antimicotico Same 2 or 3 times a day, rubbing gently until the cream is absorbed.
Do not use large amounts of product with each application as this is not necessary.
In the treatment of infections such as erythrasma and pityriasis versicolor, continue therapy for at least 3 weeks, while in the treatment of all other fungal infections (mycoses) continue treatment for at least 4 weeks, even if the inflammatory symptoms disappear.
To avoid recurrences, common in mycoses, follow these hygiene rules:

• change your underwear and towels frequently and disinfect them with chemical products or at high temperature;
• avoid sharing clothes and linen with other people;
• treat your partner simultaneously with a course of vaginal tablets, etc.

Do not ingest this medicine. In case of accidental ingestion/intake of Antimicotico Same, immediately inform your doctor or go to the nearest hospital.
If you have any doubts about the use of this medicine, consult your doctor or pharmacist .

4. Possible side effects

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Application of Antimicotico Same to the skin does not lead to absorption, therefore the possibility of
effects on the body is highly unlikely.
During the use of Antimicotico Same, rare cases of local intolerance reactions may occur such as:
irritations, burning sensation and itching, allergic contact dermatitis.

If you experience any side effects, including those not listed in this leaflet, please
inform your doctor or pharmacist. You can also report side effects directly
through the national reporting system at

provide more information on the safety of this medicine.

5. How to store Antimicotico Same

This medicine does not require any particular storage conditions.
Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date that is reported on the packaging after Scad. The
expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
The expiry date refers to the product in intact packaging, correctly stored.
Do not dispose of any medicine in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how
to dispose of medicines you no longer use. This will help protect the environment .

6. Contents of the pack and other information

What Antimicotico Same contains

• The active ingredient is clotrimazole. 100 g of cream contains 1 g of clotrimazole.
• The other ingredients are: sorbitan monostearate, polysorbate 60, cetyl palmitate, cetyl stearyl alcohol, 2-octyldodecanol, benzyl alcohol, purified water.
