- 1.What BATIFLOXtablets are and what they are used for
BATIFLOX tablets contain the active substance called levofloxacin. This medicine belongs to a group of medicines called antibiotics. Levofloxacin is a "quinolone" antibiotic. This medicine works by killing the bacteria that cause infections in the body.
BATIFLOX tablets can be used for the treatment of infections:
- of the sinuses
- of the lungs, in patients with chronic respiratory problems or pneumonia
- of the urinary tract, including kidneys and bladder
- of the prostate, where an infection may develop that persists
- of the skin and subcutaneous tissue, including muscles. These are sometimes called "soft tissues". In some special situations, BATIFLOX tablets can be used to reduce the likelihood of contracting a lung disease called anthrax or the worsening of the disease after exposure to the bacterium that causes anthrax.

- sta assumendo corticosteroidi, chiamati a volte steroidi (vedere “Altri medicinali e BATIFLOX”)
- se le è stato diagnosticato un aumento delle dimensioni o “ingrossamento” di un grande vaso san- guigno (aneurisma dell’aorta o aneurisma periferico di un grande vaso sanguigno);
- se ha già subito in precedenza episodi di dissezione dell’aorta (una lacerazione della parete dell’aorta);
- se le è stata diagnosticata l'insufficienza di una delle valvole cardiache (rigurgito aortico e mitrali- co);
In tal caso,
gambe, difficoltà a camminare, sensazioni anomale quali pizzicore, formicolio, solletico, intorpidimento
no.
Altri medicinali e BATIFLOX compresse
(antibiotici “macrolidi” quali eritromicina, azitromicina e claritromicina).

If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it is time to take
the next dose. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose.
If you stop taking BATIFLOX tablets
Do not stop taking BATIFLOX tablets just because you feel better. It is important that you complete
the cycle of tablets prescribed by your doctor. If you stop taking the tablets too early, the infection may recur and conditions may worsen or bacteria may
