1. What is ALLGRAM and what is it used for
ALLGRAM contains the active substance called levofloxacin, an antibiotic
belonging to the group of antibacterial quinolones, fluoroquinolones.
This medicine works by killing the bacteria responsible for infections in the body.
ALLGRAM can be used for the treatment of infections:
- of the facial sinuses
- of the lungs, in patients affected by chronic respiratory problems or pneumonia
- of the urinary tract, including kidneys and bladder
- of the prostate, where an infection can develop that is persistent
- of the skin and subcutaneous tissue, including muscles. These are sometimes called “soft tissues”.
In some special situations, ALLGRAM tablets can be used to decrease the
likelihood of contracting a lung disease called anthrax or the worsening of the
disease after being exposed to the bacterium that causes anthrax.
2. Cosa deve sapere prima di prendere
ALLGRAM
- se le è stata diagnosticata l'insufficienza di una delle valvole cardiache (rigurgito aortico e mitralico);
sensazioni anomale quali pizzicore, formicolio, solletico, intorpidimento o bruciore
eosinofilia e sintomi sistemici (DRESS).
assumere qualsiasi altro medicinale.
ALLGRAM contiene lattosio monoidrato.
essenzialmente “senza sodio”.
