1. What is Vividrin Occhi and what is it used for

called antihistamines. Antihistamines work by preventing the effects of substances such as
histamine which the body produces following an allergic reaction. Azelastine has been shown to reduce
eye inflammation.
Vividrin Occhi can be used for the treatment and prevention of eye disorders that manifest
with hay fever (seasonal allergic conjunctivitis which presents with redness or itching of the eyes or
watering), in adults and children from 4 years of age onwards.
Vividrin Occhi can be used for eye disorders caused by an allergy to substances such as dust mites or
pet dander (perennial allergic conjunctivitis) in adults and children from 12 years of age
onwards.
Vividrin Occhi is a preservative-free solution.
2. What you need to know before using Vividrin Occhi
Do not use Vividrin Occhi:
- if you are allergic to azelastine hydrochloride or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).
