- 1. Wash your hands.
- 2. Take a strip of single-dose containers from the aluminum pouch and detach a single-dose container (Figure 1).
- 3. Open the single-dose container by unscrewing the top (Figure 2).
- 4. Tilt your head back, look up and gently pull down the lower eyelid away from the eye.
- 5. Instill one drop into the lower conjunctival sac by gently squeezing the bottom of the container (Figure 3).
- 6. Close your eyes slowly and press with a finger on the corner of the eye, near the nose for 2-3 minutes .This will prevent the medicine from spreading through the tear duct into the throat and most of the drop will remain in the eyes (Figure 4).
- 7. Dispose of the single-dose container after use.
- 8. Put the remaining containers back into the pouch and close the pouch by folding the edge. Put the pouch in the box. If any containers remain 3 months after opening the pouch, these must be disposed of safely.
The contents of the single-dose container are sufficient for one application in both eyes.
Do not touch the eye or eyelid, the surrounding areas or other surfaces with the dropper. This could
infect the eye drops.
If you need to put the eye drops in both eyes, wash your hands before repeating steps 1-6 for
the other eye. This will help prevent the infection from spreading from one eye to the other.
A new single-dose container must be used for each application.
If a drop does not enter the eye,try again.
If you use more Moxidrop than you should, immediately wash the eye with lukewarm water. Do not use the eye drops
again until the time of the next dose.
If you accidentally ingest Moxidropask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.
If you forget to use Moxidrop, continue treatment with the next dose as
scheduled. Do notuse a double dose to make up for a missed dose.
If you are using another eye drop at the same time, allow at least 5 minutes between instilling
Moxidrop and the other eye drop.
Duration of use
The infection normally improves within 5 days. If you do not notice any improvement, contact your doctor.
