1. What is Flexiban and what is it used for
Flexiban contains the active ingredient cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride.
It belongs to a class of medicines that relax muscles (muscle relaxants).
Flexiban is indicated to relieve excessive and painful tension in your muscles (muscle spasm).
This excessive muscle tension occurs when muscles are damaged by:
- trauma;
- muscle tears;
- compression or irritation of a nerve in the spine at the level of the neck (cervical radiculopathy) or lower back (lumbosacral radiculopathy);
- joint disease (osteoarthritis);
- disease of the fibrous tissue, and therefore called “fibrous”, of muscles, tendons and ligaments (fibromyalgia). Improvement of symptoms is manifested by a decrease in muscle tension, pain accompanying it, a feeling of weakness and limitation of movements, which allows a resumption of daily activities.
2. What you need to know before taking Flexiban
Do not take Flexiban
